Vicki went with Tom on his vacation. When they were at the Sasha festival Tom let Vicki out of her travel case to look around the hotel. While she was looking at the fountain in the atrium she met Henry, a Sasha doll from England…
Henry had never met anyone like Vicki and didn’t quite know about this tall long legged girl.
Fortunately Vicki knows some Sashas and knew how to make Henry feel comfortable.

I’ve truly never known anyone quite like Isar.
Isar’s mother is an Apache medicine woman of great power and her father is a Mexican American. His mother is an Aztec Spirit Walker so she claims native spirit power from both sides of her family. She has a fox who is her spirit guide and helps her communicate with that world. She has some sort of quest that she needs to carry out before she can fully realize her destiny.
I don’t pretend to understand her. She has knowledge and power beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I do know that when I am with her I feel safe. As though nothing can happen to me when she is near. It is a good feeling.

I just had the most awful day you can possibly imagine…
It started out just fine. I had asked Lanelle if she’d let me paint a portrait of her because she is so beautiful and she was pleased to help me out. She is also a model, so has experience.
I had just gotten a background roughed in when David came by to see what we were doing. I was so very happy as I love it when David takes an interest in what I’m doing.
Well, I was intent on getting Lanelle’s features just right and I guess David felt left out because the next thing I know he was over chatting with her.
Even after I’d finished the portrait and showed it to them David stayed with Lanelle rather than coming over by me. They both like what I did, or at least they said they do…
I really think David likes me and and Lanelle says she’s not romantically interested in him but it still hurts when he pays attention to her instead of me.

I’ve always known that Megan is a dancer.
She has always dreamed of having a partner. She has always said that dancing is properly done in pairs and some styles, like ballroom, absolutely require a partner. Sean is Megan’s new partner.
They are fabulous together! Here is a photo of them. They told me they were doing a “Jive” whatever that is. It looks like what I always called a jitterbug…
He completes Megan. She is so happy she glows and I am thrilled for her. All of us enjoy watching them practice.

Benny is my very first black girl friend.
At first I thought she looked scary but she is so funny and full of life and character that all of us warmed up to her really fast.
She looks a lot like the rest of us now and she fits in really well but sometimes I wonder how much of it is the real girl and how much is trying to fit in with the rest of us. Someday I’ll sit down and have a long heart to heart with her…

Oops, drifting off again. must keep my mind on what I’m doing here.
it’s just that when I think about David I tend to lose track of what I’m doing.

For a long time it was just Megan and me.
We were and are best friends but over the past several weeks and months we have had more friends join us.
Last Autumn, Tom came back from a doll show with Vicki. I despaired! She was a nothing; gray clothes, gray eyes, unbecoming hair. Whatever was he thinking?
Well, talk about first impressions being suspect. First he changed her eyes and got her some more becoming clothes.
She even began to come out of her shell a little or maybe she was just shy not knowing Megan and I but it didn’t take long before we were chatting away like we’d always known each other.
We had another surprise in store though. At Christmas time Vicki got her hair colored and styled. She is really pretty now and more self confidence. I think Megan and I helped her with that.
