I try a 60s look

I found this shirt and flared jeans at a doll show. They give me sort of a 60s look.

New Clothes

 

Last week we went to a doll sale and I got the girls some new clothes.

“Megan, come see all the new clothes.”

“All for us?”

“Let’s try these on.”

The girls take off their old clothes…

“ZIp me up please.”

I try my hand at art.

A few days ago I got an easel and paint set so decided to try to paint someone. Megan wanted to pose for me but she isn’t one to sit still for any length of time so I asked Marina, one of my Sasha friends, to pose.

I like painting but it is more difficult than I expected.

Here is my painting. I think I need more practice!

Introduction

Hello everyone, I’m Sophia.

Tom has already introduced me on his blog:

so you may have met me there. If you didn’t, well I am a Volks SDCute doll. Volks called me Gretel after the girl in the fairytale but I strongly resented being associated with a barefoot ragamuffin so Tom agreed to rename me “Sophia” which seems better suited to a chic, modern young woman.

 

My best friend is a Parabox girl named Megan. She is a Megu head sculpt on a 50cm Obitsu body. She is a dancer and will star in several of my posts. We also hang around with several Sasha girls and boys. They will also show up here on occasion.
